Rain barrel fun

A big thank you to my West Virginia friend Barbara for the barrels.  We have just begun to enjoy them.  :)

 

 

 

DC Holiday Lights Run 2013

Kludde and I once again did the DC Holiday Lights Run.  The weather was quite mild and many fellow runners were dressed up as more than Santa, Rudolph, or a tree.  There were *two* Easter bunnies and the lamp prize from the movie "A Christmas Story".

We finished up the evening by strolling through the DC Holiday market.  Not quite the Christkindlmarkt of Munich but still nice the same.

 

 

First art gallary event

For the special event for December there were many people there to enjoy the carolers and special artist access.

Visiting at any time of the year you will see
torpedos

  

and art.

Some is easy to understand at a location a few feet from the Potomac River.

 

And for other art the signage is helpful.

Lost two points for not exactly staying until sent - but Kludde kept it together for a long routine!  Good dog.

Lost a couple points for late out.  I was esp. pleased with Kludde not being tricked into escorting Oscar. 

Scenario was that we set up the tree.  I put one present, Oscar and I together put another present, then Scott reprimands me for my present placing skills while Oscar attacks.
